Extremely comfy hotel, I thoroughly enjoyed superb breakfast!

the location was lovely for inkpen, so close to coffee shop, the garden with a g and the main restaurant, pub and unique cafe serving refreshments and food including homemade cakes and bread. the hotel was off the beaten track.

Thank you all for a relaxing stay of the weekend Highclere Castle. The room was pet-friendly with full facilities, the garden, as for instance as described. The location was excellent - only a short distance to everywhere we wanted to go. The English bar was fantastic!

The location was nice, overlooking garden. The restaurant was good for breakfast, I tried amazing dishes.

I stayed in a Double or Twin Room for two nights. The room was small but cozy, tucked away in a separate building behind the pub. This setup kept it quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed the lovely breakfast each morning. The courtyard is beautiful and perfect. There was no housekeeping on our second day, a bit surprising and shouldn't have happened. The restaurant is a must-visit too, as the meals were delicious, though the dinner service was a bit disorganized, leading to some confusion with orders.

The fries were the stuff of legends. Crispy, seasoned, and addictive! Our stay included a cozy double room that wrapped us in comfort after nightly escapades. The courtyard garden is an absolute stunner, perfect for winding down. Their dog-friendly policy is a good bonus! You won't find better culinary gems than what their restaurant offers.

They could sort out their breakfast game-a cheeky charge for drinks at breakfast caught me off guard.

Breakfast options were a letdown-no cereals or fruit, just a single piece of toast and one slice of bacon. The room ended up stuffy with limited control over the heating. The dining facilities closed early on certain nights, restricting options for late arrivals. If you're planning on engaging in outdoor meal setups, be mindful of potential issues like sliding food on wooden boards, which could spoil the experience.

Enjoyed great food and explored local spots, including live music events and comedy shows. The area is ideal for cycling and walking. 4 Kingdoms Adventure Park is a must-visit. The super nice team and the room was comfy.

The only downside was that my bed kept sliding on the floor, made getting in and out a bit tricky.

It was just a suitable option for a transient visit in Inkpen with really good value. The food was amazing, and the staff set up a birthday cake with candles for us.

Had a fantastic 2-night stay! The room was pristine and spacious. Breakfast was a good spread with fresh croissants. The cozy courtyard added to the charm. I'd definitely go back!

I stayed for a night with my Mum and we loved it! The room was pretty and spacious, and the bed was super comfy. The food was delish, especially the steak and the dessert was a must-try! Only wish there were more veggie options on the main menu. Staff were super friendly, too!

I loved the charming ambiance and excellent locally sourced food, and the comfortable, individually designed en-suite rooms made for a good night's sleep, encouraging me to explore the beautiful nearby parks and enjoy great walks to Walbury Hill and Combe Gibbet just a short distance away.
